The Lady With Limbs Like Fireworks (2014)

$15.00

This piece for saxophone quartet was first written to accompany dancers from the English National Ballet in a modern retelling of the ballet Le Corsaire. Originally a poem by the English poet Lord Byron, this part of the Le Corsaire poem tells of a beautiful woman and how her dancing distracts the pirates on the shore nearby. The dynamic nature of this piece in a flamenco style makes it a perfect choice for a high school Solo/Ensemble Contest or any college level recital program.
